REV. PROF MATHEW YAMOAH KYEI
Head Pastor/Council Member

Rev Prof Mathew Yamoah Kyei joined Accra Chapel in 1997 whiles a student at the University of Ghana Medical School. He was a member of the Young Adults Fellowship and became its president. He was voted to be a member of the Church Council in 2002 and became the president of council in 2004. He became the Chairman of Missions committee from 2005 to 2014. It was during his chairmanship that branching framework was adopted, and new branches set up at Ashiyie, Lake Side and Ejura after outreaches were organized to these localities.He pursued a post graduate diploma in theology from 2015 to 2017 after which he was commissioned as a pastor at Korle Bu Community Chapel. He was ordained as an assistant pastor on 27th September 2020 and appointed as the acting Head pastor on 1st July 2021. Rev Prof Mathew Yamoah Kyei was subsequently appointed as the substantive Head Pastor of Korle Bu Community Chapel on 1st May 2022. His ministry has been that of a tent maker.

He is a consultant Urologist and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Ghana Medical School, having completed the University of Ghana Medical School graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1998, Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (Urology) in 2007 and a fellow of the Ghana College of Surgeons is 2012 (by Election). He belongs to various professional organizations, on editorial boards and has written extensively in his Professional domain.
He is married to Dr Mrs Josephine Kyei and they have three children.
