Joseph Owusu-Asare, 65 years old and a retired Senior Biomedical Scientist with the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (Central Lab).
He has been a member of KBCC for 47 years (75 to 22). He was once a member and a head of the sound department. He has also been a chairman of the building committee, fundraising committee and the equipment committee and this is his 6th time being a member of council.
He was a member of the Mamprobi fellowship from 1975 to the late 90s and have been a member of the Accra Youth For Christ (YFC) from 1975 till date.
He is married to Sophia Owusu-Asare and they have 3 children Eugenia, Kweku and Rachel.
